hey chizuru heyyyyyyyyyyy

So Peko's feelings toward Chizuru are a little weird. She honestly didn't really give a shit about her before/until/beyond her own execution. Peko didn't really have anything significant with Chizuru other than 'Kuzuryuu likes her for some reason this is strange.' WHICH PEKO DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE WAS A THING UNTIL GRAVEYARD SO most of Peko's impressions of Chizuru are from the graveyard.

And. God. DKs. Phoenix dropped the DK bomb on Peko in the graveyard, and suddenly everything was terrible. But Peko had noticed the way Kuzuryuu was responding more positively to a few people, and Chizuru had been one of them. And now it all makes sense and it's horrible why did this have to happen to someone like bocchan. So from that point on, she was a little... not suspicious, exactly, since that's what she was when she was trying to figure out just what the fuck Kuzuryuu's relationship with these people was, but more wary than anything else. Because Chizuru is such a sweetheart and Kuzuryuu is a secret sweetheart and clearly both of them being forced to kill someone is a really bad time. So she was more afraid that Kuzuryuu was going to do something to take a fall for either Chizuru or Nanami.

AND THEN THAT ONE WEEK HAPPENED and Chizuru and Feferi were clearly hiding something from her in the graveyard itself and she was not okay with that. She literally would have started knocking heads together if the reveal that it was Kuzuryuu had come first. And it kind of ruined any chance at Peko really forming any kind of relationship with Chizuru based on that due to several factors. Not the least of which had nothing to do with Chizuru and everything to do with the MM1 players who kept pulling the same shit on her. 'We can't tell you, it's too dangerous.' Which Peko basically kept taking as 'sorry we can't trust you.' And someone implying that they can't trust her where Kuzuryuu is involved is going to have a bad time. On a logical level she understood the whole 'not wanting to reveal it in case the producers do something' but on an emotional level she's still pretty angry about that.

BUT in endgame she could potentially start getting over that. Because Chizuru is an otome protag and would probably be able to manage it. And because she's starting to understand that people are allowed to have relationships with the bocchan that she's not a part of, and that's okay.
