Mei likes Iceland! He's quiet, and was relatively good company for the first few weeks. She'd gotten used to seeing him pretty routinely in the library. Like with Maribelle, she feels kind of guilty over the whole grease trap thing and him getting angry with her over Norway's death, but she can't blame him for it.

When he started with the whole depression thing, she really felt bad for him. She knew how it felt, and she even said some...kind of hurtful things in an attempt to get him out of that funk. But he managed to pull through! She's glad he didn't die.
