LIKE AS MUCH AS I JOKED ABOUT IT IN THE PLURKS Peko really -- her feelings toward Kuzuryuu are Complicated. She just didn't want Kuzuryuu to end up with Nanami for a long time because she was honestly concerned that Nanami was using the bocchan. And that's absolutely not something that can be allowed to stand, and the young master should not be told that's an acceptable thing Glinda no.
But Peko honestly did mean what she said, before her execution; she had faith that Glinda would be able to rise above. After all, she'd gone to get a knife first thing from the kitchen. Whether it was for self-defense or murder, Peko couldn't really fault her for that. Being proactive about protecting oneself is obviously not something she's ever really going to argue against, and she thought it showed a remarkable amount of resolve for a woman everyone was so quick to write off. Especially week one, Peko really thought a lot of people were underestimating Glinda's resolve/ability to murder. WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE A COMPLIMENT thanks Peko.
As the game went on, and Peko was able to observe more of what was actually going on without being involved herself, she only really grew to respect Glinda as a person? Obviously Glinda's not a fighter, but she has her own kind of strength of will that made her a force to be reckoned with in the trials themselves. And she looked out for not only herself, but the other people in the castle. Which was important to her since Kuzuryuu was in that castle.
In endgame, Peko actually is going to want to approach Glinda more. Because Peko Needs Help With How To People and she knows it. Not that she's going to want the full Popular treatment, but she wants to start learning how to be something more like a normal high schooler. Not just for Kuzuryuu's sake, but also for her own, since she is starting to learn that for herself. That she seriously missed out on being a person, and she has a right (/responsibility) to learn how to act for herself.
Also if Glinda can help teach her how to get it with Kuzuryuu that's a plus. She does want to date the bocchan but she doesn't think it's possible. IF THE BOCCHAN WANTS TO DATE SOMEONE ELSE SHE'LL BE SAD BUT. Yes.
