thank you thank youaah this is my favourite "last thing I was expecting" CR. I was expecting princess and lawyer CR I was not expecting yakuza besties. The culture clash and Nanami factor and secretly a DK the whole time thing just make it wonderful. Don't worry about saying goodbye, Kuzuryuu, Maribelle has a canon "visit other worlds for vacations" island and she is planning on using it.
Seriously though, if Kuzuryuu had taken Maribelle aside and straight up told her he wasn't a designated killer, she would have believed him. Which probably would have ended up terrible and ruined their friendship so GOOD WORK NOT DOING THAT, KUZURYUU.
