Haha: Re: Week 5, Maya didn't really want to accept the retirement, either, though she blamed herself!! In the end it really came down to not wanting his death to be meaningless/needing to survive!!11 (to complete her CRAU suicide mission), but haha, she feels similarly in not wanting to profit off of someone else's death/murder, though realistically, she'd end up taking it no matter what.

ALSO, Maya was actually not in on Apollo's bluff at all! That's part of why she was so angry at him, Sebastian talked to Apollo and then he went ahead and was a dumbass. I assure you, had Apollo talked to her first, she would have not let him go threaten Nanami, haha. Part of the reason she was reluctant to come forward with Sebastian's report was because she was worried about what would happen to the DKs, so when Apollo went to terrorize Nanami and then Chizuru and Feferi turned up dead she was pretty horrified, though she knew it wasn't Apollo. She found out about Apollo's stupidity like a day before the DKcide.

OH OKAY I GOT...so confused on that whole thing and who did and didn't know what when and dear god LIKE I KNEW NOBODY TOLD APOLLO TO DO THAT BUT I THOUGHT SHE STILL KNEW...somethingbeforehand.

ANYWAY YES SHE NAILED HIM PERFECTLY AND I LAUGHED A LOT EVEN THOUGH HE WAS 100% DONE.

IF IT HELPS, before Apollo presented Sea Bass's report, right after Rin's execution, he gathered the entire remaining AAcast to show them first!! That's when Maya suggested no-kill week, and they actually wanted her to present the report since she was retired. But she didn't want to, so Apollo did! All the AA cast knew about it beforehand though, oop oops.

After that, (after Austria's execution I believe), Sea Bass started pulling people aside to... be Sea Bass, and one of them was Apollo, though I think Sea Bass was trying to get him to pressure Chizuru and Feferi and not Nanami herself. He then went to confront Nanami, who told Kazoo about it, and then Apollo told Maya about it, where she promptly got pissed at him and remained pissed at him.

And then Kazoo did the thing.
