No one notices Mei!

For the first few weeks, Mei didn't really have an opinion one way or the other about Kuzuryuu, although she sort of kept an eye on him because of the whole yakuza thing. She thought he'd be likely to kill until well, it looked like Nanami had him on a leash. He seemed pretty rude half the time, but he didn't beat around the bush, either. In a place where time is crucial, Mei liked that about him.

When all the Nanami stuff came up, she...wasn't sure what to think. She figured he'd probably avoid her. With the DK stuff though, that kind of changed to fear. Especially when she tried to slap Nanami, when he stepped in, she was pretty genuinely terrified. That said, she didn't think he was a bad guy, but if he was forced to kill? It was like she'd just painted a target on herself, at least in her mind. She had no idea the DKs weren't going to try and kill her.

During the DK trial though, she didn't want to think he would have done it, although she did consider the possibility. When he was found out, she didn't really hold it against him (honestly, the only killer she didn't like was Phoenix). Mei was starting to lose what hope she'd had right around then, too. And it was actually Kuzuryuu who gave it back to her with that brief mention that he thought something could be done for the dead. That was pretty much what fueled her drive for the rest of the game.

But now that it's all over, she'd very likely seek him out just to talk or something. Maybe she'll even draw a portrait of him and his sister!
