LAYS IT ON U. Kaoru actually liked Wriggle from start to finish! He isn't quite as fond of her as Gundam is, but he really liked her honesty and found her personality extremely refreshing. She was just trying to do her best to survive! She felt no need to censor her opinions for the sake of everyone else! That's the kind of person that he naturally admires because he pretty much has done the exact opposite his entire life (re: the opinions part). He was honestly worried for a while that she'd just spend the entire game being an outlier because of that though, which is why he tried to be pretty genial and nice to her throughout the entirety of the game. But then she hella bonded with a lot of people as they kind of realized Wriggle never meant ill by the things she said, so it was an unfounded fear!

Wriggle sort of dropped to the wayside in his mind after a little while because he had to worry about other things, and then he was in a bad mental place for the last few weeks which ended up with him snapping at Wriggle while they were at the ball. He doesn't really feel bad for that, but he does understand that Wriggle was also coming from a bad place so he doesn't hold her trying to push him away against her.

When Wriggle was one of the final survivors he was actually not that worried about her! Because unlike sOME PEOPLE she wasn't going to be one of the self-sacrificers that he had to keep an eye on. She isn't reckless when it comes to her own life and he knows that she understood the situation well enough to not wander away or accidentally put herself in danger so yeah, hilariously, he thought Wriggle was one of the people most capable of making it through that week a-okay. He TOTALLY did not expect her to be that much of an asset in a fight though, which skyrocketed his opinion on her, because he feels an affinity with other hands-on fighters! He will probably go out of his way to hang out with Wriggle while they're all stuck together.
