Fellow artist!

Mei's first impression of Austria was that she was a sort of strict, motherly type. Not...much really changed about that, honestly. Mei was fairly pleased with the fact that there was someone else who liked to do artsy things around.

She kind of liked Austria, even though they didn't interact all that much. She suspected Austria pretty much from the beginning of the trial following Spain's death, but she really didn't want to believe it (much like anyone else). But she understood Austria's reason for doing what she did after hearing her, and she doesn't really hold it against her. (She's not one to judge, considering she tried killing someone too)

Now with the game all settled and everyone back to life, Mei would like to speak to her again, even if it's just about art.

hahaha oh mei

Austria really liked Mei she just had a hard time talking to her!! But it seemed like she and Iceland were pretty friendly in their weird little way and she'd formed a relationship with Yuyuko so she thought that was pretty nice. And after that fourth week Austria was pretty content that even if Mei wasn't retired no one wanted to put Mei's incentive at risk so she thought Mei would be okay survival wise.

But then Yuyuko died and Mei was obviously very distressed about the whole thing. And she seemed to fall into the Sebastian/Apollo crowd and it was something that worried her-- because Mei's personality was less bubbly and optimistic so she thought people might get the wrong idea about her.

Even when Mei was like using the antidote on Austria was a waste Austria didn't really disagree with that sentiment IT PRETTY MUCH WAS TRUE. She felt a little bad about using it up in her plot but trying to kill nations is difficult and poison was the tried and true method. By the end of Spain's death she just hoped she made poison look so completely horrific no one else would utilize it again.

But Mei was kind of one of those people Austria actually liked but cared about in a more distant way. She defended her in the graveyard once or twice and never had any ill will towards her despite how shrewd and guarded she tended to be because Austria never saw those as bad qualities!! She was very happy Mei survived to the end even if the incentive wasn't real in the end.

So if Mei wants to talk to her, she'd welcome the company.

Aww.

I'll definitely have to toss her at Austria in the after-game mingle! If there was someone who'd play him, she'd probably introduce her not!boyfriend to her. Mei's definitely a little more pleasant to be around now that murdertime is over, though.
