Who knows?

Wriggle wasn't too fond of Chizuru from the start but she didn't actually dislike her, there were other people in the castle she liked less. But then the two just kept clashing more and more during the trials due to their conflicts in ideology and Wriggle finally decided that she couldn't stand Chizuru. Wriggle had lost all memories of her friends, so she couldn't understand why anyone would be so passionate about fighting for others or trusting that they're really not bad people. She thought that kind of thinking would get her killed.

The more they argued though, Wriggle started to realise that her words got to Chizuru in a big way and it made her feel powerful. She couldn't help with the trials, she couldn't go through with murder but she could make Chizuru angry so she would intentionally provoke her to give herself a smug sense of superiority. That kept going on until around week six when Iceland told her that they weren't always going to see eye to eye as they were different species, and that was probably the producers intention and Athena made her realise that the game was hard on everyone. Wriggle only voted for Chizuru because she had permission, otherwise she would have voted for Nanami.

The trial had been someone tiresome for all of them so when Wriggle found Chizuru by the river later she didn't have the energy to be aggressive with her. Instead she just sat next to her to make leaf boats. Surprisingly it was actually kind of nice to have a normal conversation with her and remembering what Iceland had told her Wriggle realised how awful she'd been just to make herself feel big. It was embarrassing but she wanted to apologise for it.

That's not to say she suddenly considered Chizuru a friend but she wanted to see her live and she wanted her to have a bit more self-preservation. When she finally did die it was upsetting, but only partly because it was Chizuru and Wriggle could barely look at the scene because it was too painful after what happened to Austria.

She's glad that Chizuru is still alive and there is part of her that wants to get to know her better but after everything she's a little shy about it.
