maribelle gets a full orchestra it's only right

Glinda and Maribelle didn't really start talking until poor innocent Kougyoku's tragic untimely death and when everyone else was going 'hm Kougyoku must have tried to murder Norway' Glinda was screaming about accomplices and being forced into it. But Maribelle totally understood and it was OK and it doesn't make any sense because it totally was counterproductive to the trial but somebody felt the same way she did so it was all OK. Like Glinda would've felt bad if the real murderer hadn't been caught because she distracted everyone, but at the same time she doesn't... really feel bad, even now, about defending poor innocent Kougyoku whose last desire was to give her a present.

After that she appreciated Maribelle more and she saw that Maribelle was headstrong and fierce about her opinions, and she kind of admired that! Combined with all the healing stuff, she definitely came to appreciate Maribelle in her own rather than just 'Kougyoku's other friend'. They still didn't spend that much time together outside of trials, but Maribelle ended up being the first person she thought of when she wanted to spread the secrets. There were a few reasons for that - Maribelle was bottom of the list, which she felt the secret group would never be in (she was wrong about that), but mostly, Maribelle's character was so strong that she couldn't believe she would be involved. Her reasons for not believing Nanami were involved were just bias from liking her too much, but she didn't know Maribelle well enough to have that same bias, so it was 100% because she admired her character.

Also her hair was fabulous.

She's super glad that Maribelle made it to the end despite being on the bottom lists so often, and she was convinced the whole time that it was just because she bargained with the Host which made her super badass.
