So at first, Maya came off as eccentric and all too flippant to Glinda, which kind of bothered her in the beginning! There were people dying left and right and Maya was making puns about the way they were horribly incinerated, and Glinda herself just felt kind of constantly ill and on the verge of a nervous breakdown. She didn't really appreciate how lighthearted Maya seemed to be about everything, and even as a coping mechanism, it felt like it went way too far sometimes. She liked her OK, but talking to her just sometimes was hard because of Maya's attitude.
Then Phoenix's week happened and she realized that Maya's weird humor was way way overcompensating for her inner problems, and she was a lot more broken up by everything than she had ever cared to admit, and Glinda felt a lot better... which is kind of weird, but the vulnerability definitely made her feel super bad for Maya and made her like her a lot more. After that, she was super on board with all of Maya's ideas to cheer people up. And even though Maya went back to her happy self pretty quickly, Glinda was always concerned that she would fall back into her traumatized state, so she tried to be extra nice to her if she could.
She just about had a heart attack when Maya and Nanami were barred from entering the graveyard safely, but thankfully everything was OK and now she will sing to her as much as she likes!!!

But yes, ngl, I cherished Glinda's reactions and side-eyeing of Maya's Mayaness. She honestly did believe she was helping others by being a distracting bastion of inappropriate cheer and jokes, but when you look at it from a sane person's perspective.... 8D;
CAN I ASK FOR SUSAN TOO even though we've had all of two threads

But then the same caveats apply about 'oh it's just a really dedicated front' and Susan would actually be perceptive enough to recognize that Maya has gone through a lot of difficult things in the past to have developed this kind of persona. Maya will still be treated like any other youth she deals with, but Susan will be conscious of this. She'll also generally do her best to discourage recklessness though no one needs to see Maya die as glorious as tasering Host-kun in the nuts was.
As for Maya's obvious nervousness around her, she'll avoid commenting on it unless it becomes actually an obstacle in them being able to communicate at which point she'd immediately point it out and tell her not to be silly.
