All through this, Maya was basically thinking about how much she wanted to go home to Phoenix so she could extort him for burgers, and that idea got her through plenty of sleepless nights. She was semi-pressured into agreeing to do a dangerous channeling to save the rest of the passengers come showdown time, and it was described in a way that made Maya think it was fatal and she'd be sacrificing her life for the other passengers. Despite being scared, she agreed to it to save them, and sort of started trying to prepare herself to die as SHOWDOWN TIME drew near, while accepting that she would not be going home to see Phoenix. She didn't end up dying after all, but from the way the memloss is structured, she's from right before that huge boss fight, so she was desperate to get back to do the thing to save them, and thought she'd never see Phoenix again.

Okay, skipping out of order to do Chizuru here (if u know what I mean). I'm going to preface this by saying Maya was CRAU from Exit Void (Beta phase!) So she was both somewhat genre-savvy and also fairly traumatized by death everywhere already. Yay! As a result, it coloured her opinions.
Maya didn't have much of an impression on Chizuru at first! She though she was nice and felt bad for how badly Chizuru seemed to be taking things - in fact, she was a bit worried about how Chizuru would handle herself as the game went on, considering how upset she got from day one. And also offering to cut herself all the time holy crap. If they were closer, Maya probably would have gotten Chizuru to focus her energies elsewhere - as it stands she was basically trying to act distracting for everyone. But she was fairly neutral on Chizuru (aside from the demon thing being cool and CHIZURU NO), until they started to butt heads in week 4. Now, Chizuru wasn't as aggressive as Nanami, but Maya did find it kind of odd that the both of them would jump her like that. She didn't suspect anything about DKs by that point, but it was something she found strange and frustrating at the time. Pretty soon after that she started to suspect Nanami (thanks to Sebastian), but not Chizuru quite yet.
Like, honestly, when she offered to walk Chizuru around and whatnot, she did genuinely mean it - she was worried about Chizuru because of her lack of self-preservation and also her being on deadweight. When Chizuru reluctantly agreed and then completely ignored her offer to go... out to the middle of the lake on murder week...... that's something she found extremely jarring. That and the little behaviors she'd started to notice - like how the DKs all backed each other up all the time, the crossdressing stuff, Chizuru jumping her, etc. Hence her suspicion. And the fact that the other people acting suspiciously also backed up Chizuru without any reason (like, she specifically asked Kuzuryuu and he said it was just a hunch), she knew something was off.
And of course, there was the whole "They're going to scapegoat you, Kaoru!!!" that really, really rubbed her the wrong way. Bear in mind this was directly after the person she trusted most horribly betrayed her, so her stance was like "okay, you don't know that he's innocent (unless you're the killer), but you want Kaoru to be innocent, which I understand, but don't insult us all by saying we'd let him get scapegoated". The latter was what bothered her, since she was one of the very few people who fought against scapegoating Ian while the general murder populace, Chizuru included, scapegoated him!! But Chizuru calmed down so it was fine.
AND THEN CAME THE SELF-BUSSING. When Chizuru talked about how useless she was, Maya deeply empathized (in fact, she has done similar stupid self-sacrficing acts with lol-I'm-useless as part of her reasoning in BS so she's a hypocrite,) but at the same time, she couldn't stand to hear Chizuru say those things about herself. She understood what Chizuru was trying to do and admired her for her intent - but at the same time, she wanted to make sure Chizuru was doing it for legit reasons and not just because she thought her life had that little value. It was Chizuru's choice to want to offer her life for Rin and Len, she felt, and likewise anyone who wanted to vote for her or not could.
After that trial, Sebastian pulled them aside to talk about his DK report. And sheeee... was not surprised! Not at all!! She heavily suspected the four of them anyway, so she pretty much agreed right away and the lawyers mulled over what to do. No Kill Week was actually Maya's idea, and she also wanted to wait before releasing the report (they wanted her to present it, actually, but she did not want to) for various reasons. At that point she did genuinely feel bad for the DKs and wanted to help them, but she wasn't sure how.
OKAY COME DKCIDE WEEK, she also didn't realize Apollo had gone and threatened Nanami because he didn't tell her shit until like a day before the murder!! One of her reasons for being reluctant was out of worry for the DKs, so when Chizuru and Feferi both turned up dead she was pretty horrified. In the end, though, when everything came to light, including the fact that Feferi and Chizuru pretty much consented to be killed to screw over the game and save Nanami, she was really super grateful, and her opinion of Chizuru jumped right up. Their combined sacrifice is basically what pulled her out of the horrible rut she was getting into, so she resolved to break the game for all of their sakes.
NOW THAT SHE HAS BS MEMORIES.... she knows Kaoru and Chizuru are having freaky incest. And since Kaoru was a pretty shady bro (they did talk a bit about Chizuru in BS), she's happy for them both now, since Kaoru's changed a lot and they have a shot at having a good brother-sister relationship. HAPPINESS FOR THE BOTH OF THEM.
So she likes Chizuru overall! From here on out she'd probably try to be encouraging if she starts talking about herself as though she's useless or worthless, and would definitely teach meditation training to her and whatnot. They could be cute friends!!
