Assuming Susan's been watching the whole time, she'd probably have thought Maya was completely nuts aha Glinda just thought it was weird and inappropriate, but Susan would be actively concerned that there were a few screws loose, because she's taught so many kids and that is not a normal reaction Maya...
But then the same caveats apply about 'oh it's just a really dedicated front' and Susan would actually be perceptive enough to recognize that Maya has gone through a lot of difficult things in the past to have developed this kind of persona. Maya will still be treated like any other youth she deals with, but Susan will be conscious of this. She'll also generally do her best to discourage recklessness though no one needs to see Maya die as glorious as tasering Host-kun in the nuts was.
As for Maya's obvious nervousness around her, she'll avoid commenting on it unless it becomes actually an obstacle in them being able to communicate at which point she'd immediately point it out and tell her not to be silly.
